The Cardigan Welsh Corgi Club of Southern California is very involved with the rescue of Cardigans in need. We coordinate our efforts under the guidelines of The Cardigan Welsh Corgi National Rescue Trust. Sherilyn Curti is the CWCNRT Regional Rescue Coordinator for California as well as the CWCNRT National Dog Officer. She can be reached at curticardi@bak.rr.com or 661-831-1416. If you are interested
in adopting a Cardigan, the first step is to contact Sherilyn Curti
and complete an adoption application. Costs vary based on a variety
of circumstances, but expect to make, on average, an adoption donation
of around $200. All animals are placed after they have been spayed or
neutered. We understand there
are many reasons a dog may need to be rehomed including death or illness
of owner, change in life circumstances, being in a shelter…the
list is a varied as the dogs that come in to us. We are here to help.
